Customers who viewed this item also viewed. It requires a lot of patience to finish. And the writing is amazing — I’m not usually patient with extended descriptive passages; but Ghosh’s evocation of Canton in the mid-nineteenth century are wonderful.
They;re here too, but not as prominent; some key characters are there in important parts of the story but their voices and roles are quite submerged. Is amihav feature helpful?
